Consumer electronics manufacturer Salora launched it's first Android Smartphone in India, Named as Salora POWERMaxx. Dual-SIM (GSM + WCDMA) supported Android device priced at Rs. 15,999. Salora POWERMaxx is now available all major retail stores in India. The smartphone come with 4.5-Inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with IPS technology and qHD 960 x 540 pixel screen resolution. And its Zero Air Gap technology makes the screen more clear and crispy by redusing the gap between the front panel and the display.

Salora POWERMaxx smartphone runs on Android v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system and it upgradable to Android Jelly Bean operating system. The device powered by Cortex-A9 1.0 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB RAM and it come with 4 GB internal storage space with 32 GB external storage support via MicroSD card slot. The next feature is it come with a huge 3200 mAh powerful battery, it give up to 428-hours stand-by time, 18-hours talk time on 2G network and 22-hours talk time on 3G network.
The device sports an 8.0 Megapixel rear camera, camera come with some features such as auto focus, optical image stabilisation, panorama view, speed multi-shot, time lapse video, facial beautify, smile shutter, automatic ambient detection and the camera capable for 720 pixel video recording. There's also a 1.3 Megapixel front facing camera for make effective video calls.
The device offers high speed data via GPRS (class 12), EDGE (class 12), 3G (7.2 Mbps HSDPA; 5.76 Mbps HSUPA), and Wi-Fi. The device pre-installed with Android, Chrome web browser, it offers smooth web surfing via your handset. GPS enabled with Google Maps. Salora POWERMaxx also offers data sharing to other compactable devices via Bluetooth and Micro USB 2.0. Facebook, Twitter, Kingsoft office Apps installed.
